We provide road transportation of dry-bulk products. Operated on a fleet of dry-bulk tankers, we have a strong operational footprint servicing various clients and customers throughout Gauteng and nationally, within and across RSA borders.

FLAT DECK TRANSPORT

Our services include the delivery of bulk palletised cement bags, utilising aluminium flat deck trailers and specialised rear mounted moffett forkilfts. This capability provides a unique and faster offloading time as compared with more traditional methods.

Our highly skilled drivers and operators ensure pallets are timeously offloaded and placed within the required area at the request of the customer. All our operators are trained in the correct use and offloading procedures that these unique forklifts require.

Effective turnarounds are key in providing an efficient level of transportation and offloading service to various customers within the commercial and domestic construction industries.

At the peak of transport

Summit Trucking was formed in 2005 with the aim to provide logistical and aggregate transport solutions to various areas of the industry, including civil and commercial construction, ready-mix concrete and asphalt. Offering our services to major Blue Chip clients, by 2008 we had propelled ourselves from a single 4 ton truck operation to a fleet of rear-end tippers, and an aggregate distribution business with in-house screening plants and front-end loaders. In 2010, Summit Trucking made a strategic decision to shift its focus from aggregate distribution and transportation to dry-bulk tanker haulage and has since become a focused transport and logistical solutions provider to the dry-bulk product industry nationwide.
